What to know before you specify

The unit converts dissolved calcium carbonate from its calcite form, which bonds hard to hot surfaces, into aragonite, which stays in suspension and passes through the system. Because the chemistry of the water is otherwise unchanged, the treated supply remains fit for drinking and for food contact duty.
